It’s finally starting to get a little warm in Calgary so I thought I would do a fun makeup look as a tribute to Spring. Coincidentally, my boyfriend also planned a date night that evening. We went to watch an anime film called ‘Howl’s Moving Castle by Hayao Miyazaki’ down at the Globe Cinema, Calgary’s independent movie theatre. You may know other popular Hayao Miyazaki movies such as Princess Mononoke or Spirited Away. It was a great movie!
Here are some pictures from the look and I’ll leave a list of products used at the end. Shots were taken by my sister, Malen. FYI, She will probably always be my photographer so check her out on Instagram! @malenc.photography
You may have noticed some scarring and discoloration on my face, that is due to my hormonal imbalance and acne as a teen. I’ll do a post a little later about my experience dealing with hormonal acne from my teen years to now and things I’ve learned along the way.
